1What they actually want

Our plain-words read of this job. It explains the job, not the employer's own words.

This job is about rules for data, and proof that people follow them. You write and update Moniepoint's data policies, then design controls and test whether they work. When auditors arrive, you coordinate what they need and track each failed control until it is fixed. You also run the stewardship programme and train staff. That is why much of your week is spent with teams across the bank, not alone with a spreadsheet.

Because this is a bank, Moniepoint wants five or more years in governance, risk, compliance or controls within a regulated industry. They expect you to know frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM, and laws like the NDPA. They also need someone who can change habits, so training and change management matter. To stand out, show a policy you wrote, the control that enforced it, and an audit it helped you pass.
