1What they actually want

Our plain-words read of this job. It explains the job, not the employer's own words.

FairMoney lends to Nigerians through its app, and this job keeps a close eye on that consumer loan book. Each week you will follow loans from application to recovery, track delinquency and losses by vintage, and break performance down by risk grade, product and channel to see where trouble is starting. Your Tableau dashboards are what the Risk team and management look at, so they must be accurate, on time and automated. When the team changes a credit rule, limit or price, you measure what it did to the portfolio.

They want three or more years in consumer lending or credit analytics, with real portfolio work across the whole lending cycle. Tableau, SQL and Excel are required, and Python is a plus. You must be at home with PAR, DPD, roll rates and vintage curves, and able to explain what they mean in plain business terms. To stand out, show a dashboard you built, one early warning you raised from it, and the action the business took because of it.

Loans by month of issue, with delinquency buckets and roll rates, built on a public loan data set.

  2. 02

    A policy-impact study

A before-and-after analysis of a made-up change to a credit rule, showing approvals, defaults and revenue.

  3. 03

    A segmentation deep dive

Defaults broken down by loan size, tenor and channel, ending with two clear recommendations.
