1What they actually want

Our plain-words read of this job. It explains the job, not the employer's own words.

This job puts a risk analyst inside a product team that lends money to consumers. The squad wants to grow fast, and your role is to make sure that growth does not turn into bad debt. Each week you watch how loans are repaying and update the dashboards on cohorts and risk KPIs. You also adjust the credit rules that decide who gets a loan. When the squad plans a new feature, you review its risks before it launches.

Because you sit with product and engineering people, Moniepoint wants someone who explains risk clearly and can still say yes to good ideas. They ask for three or more years in consumer credit, solid SQL, and a working knowledge of CBN and AML rules. Python is a bonus. To stand out, show a credit rule or scorecard you changed, and what then happened to approval and default rates.
